The 50th turned out to be more successful than we could have hoped for.
The locations, the weather, the food, the service, the conversation, the music,
the photos...practically everything one could have hoped for. When the committee
had it's first meeting in late 2011, we knew we needed to do something special
for a 50th reunion. So, we started early so we could get reservations and
make the many decisions that were the responsibility of five representatives of
the class. First of all, I would like to say that the committee serves
voluntarily, and takes the responsibility very seriously. Our goal is to do the
best we can with what we have and to keep the budget as reasonable as possible.
The current classes are in the thousands...but, 1962 was the beginning...only
250+ students...and we cannot locate a number of those and unfortunately, a
significant number have passed on.
We, the committee, are so proud of the number of alumni that attended, and mostly of the response in the form of comments following the reunion. I should point out this is YOUR reunion. We want to know what you enjoy and what you don't enjoy. What do you want included and what do you consider a waste of time. How important is the location, food and entertainment, including the photographs. You let us know what you want and we will try to make it happen.

Again...thank you for your support and response. Without you, and your participation, there would be no reunion...no celebration. I personally have more friends and acquaintances now, because of the reunion, than I did when I was in school. Perhaps, you have experienced the same thing. Keep writing in the Shutterfly forum.
